In order to preserve the healthy aquatic environment of Tamamo Pond and maintain its beautiful scenery for future generations, the pond will be drained and dredging work will be carried out to remove accumulated sludge and other sediment from the pond bed.

During the dredging process, due consideration will be given to the habitat of aquatic organisms. Turtles, fish, and other wildlife will be captured and temporarily relocated to holding tanks, and then returned to Tamamo Pond after the dredging work is completed. Appropriate measures will be taken according to the species involved and the circumstances.

During this period, the appearance of Tamamo Pond will differ from its usual state, including the pond being drained of water. We apologize for any inconvenience to visitors who come to enjoy the pond’s scenery. However, this work is necessary to protect and maintain both the water environment and the landscape of Tamamo Pond. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
