Shinjuku Gyoen Takigi Noh is an annual autumn traditional performing arts event.Set within the unique natural surroundings of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, an oasis amid the skyscrapers of central Tokyo,the event offers audiences the opportunity to experience the mysterious and refined beauty of Noh theater illuminated by bonfire.Distinguished performers present carefully selected masterpieces, creating an elegant and atmospheric evening of traditional Japanese performing arts.

This year’s program features the Kyogen play “Liquor (hinosake) of gutter” performed by Mansai Nomura,and the Noh play “Ship formidable man, zengokore (funabenkei, zengonokae)” performed by Tetsunojo Kanze.Please enjoy this exceptional collaboration, a highlight unique to the Forest Torchlight Noh.

Ticket Sales
Tickets will go on sale from July 20, 2026 through Ticket PIA and Kanfeti.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Information Center and Service Center within Shinjuku Gyoen from July 20, 2026(on park opening days only).

Please note: Only A seats and B seats will be sold at Shinjuku Gyoen.
