Rose Guide Walk with the Gardeners Who Care for the Roses of Shinjuku Gyoen<\/strong><\/p>\n

A guided walk will be held in the rose garden located within the Formal Garden of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The roses in this garden are planted and maintained with the cooperation of the Rose Team of the volunteer group, the Green Academy Club.<\/p>\n

During the walk, participants will learn about the history, varieties, and fragrances of roses, as well as ways to appreciate them. Members of the Rose Team will also share stories about the challenges and efforts involved in cultivating beautiful blooms.<\/p>\n

We look forward to welcoming you to the garden.<\/p>\n

Please note: The blooming condition of the roses is affected by weather and climate conditions. As a result, the event dates may not coincide with the peak blooming period. Thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n

\nSaturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026
\n10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u30fbParticipants are welcome to join at any time during the event (registration accepted until 30 minutes before closing).
\n\u30fbThe guided walk lasts approximately one hour.<\/p>\n

\nFree of charge (admission fee to Shinjuku Gyoen is required separately).<\/p>\n

\u25cbHow to Participate
\nNo advance registration is required. Please come directly to the rose garden in the Formal Garden area on the day of the event.<\/p>\n

\nWalking time from each entrance:
\n\u30fbApproximately 10 minutes from Shinjuku Gate
\n\u30fbApproximately 5 minutes from Okido Gate
\n\u30fbApproximately 7 minutes from Sendagaya Gate<\/p>\n
