{"id":50395,"date":"2026-09-10T11:55:43","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T02:55:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fng.or.jp\/shinjuku\/?p=50395"},"modified":"2026-09-10T11:58:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T02:58:50","slug":"20260910-02","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fng.or.jp\/shinjuku\/2026\/09\/10\/20260910-02\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice: Installation of Benches Equipped with Charging Facilities Powered by Electricity Generated from Solar Pavement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for your continued use of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Starting on September 1, 2026, electricity generated by nearby pavement-mounted solar power systems (solar pavement) will be available for visitors to use at charging facilities installed next to benches at four locations within the garden.<\/p>\n<p>The available charging options include:<\/p>\n<p>Wireless charging<br \/>\nPower outlets<br \/>\nAC 100V outlets<br \/>\nUSB ports (Type-A and Type-C)<br \/>\nRegarding solar pavement, which is expected to become an important advanced technology, we are examining measures to minimize its impact on the landscape and promoting initiatives that support the simultaneous realization of carbon neutrality and nature positivity in national parks and other nationally significant scenic areas.<\/p>\n<p>For details on how to use the charging facilities, please refer to the accompanying leaflet.<\/p>\n<p>Important: After using the charging outlet, please make sure to close the outlet cover.
