Shinjuku Gyoen Takigi Noh is an annual autumn traditional performing arts event.Set within the unique natural surroundings of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, an oasis amid the skyscrapers of central Tokyo,the event offers audiences the opportunity to experience the mysterious and refined beauty of Noh theater illuminated by bonfire.Distinguished performers present carefully selected masterpieces, creating an elegant and atmospheric evening of traditional Japanese performing arts.<\/p>\n
This year’s program features the Kyogen play \u201cLiquor (hinosake) of gutter\u201d performed by Mansai Nomura,and the Noh play \u201cShip formidable man, zengokore (funabenkei, zengonokae)\u201d performed by Tetsunojo Kanze.Please enjoy this exceptional collaboration, a highlight unique to the Forest Torchlight Noh.<\/p>\n
